In the late 1950's, Paul Simon, later of Simon and Garfunkel fame, recorded as Jerry Landis (among other names). This record by Jerry Landis is really a record by Paul Simon, and he is backed up by an Unlisted Doo Wop group. On some records, Simon was backed up by Tico and the Triumphs. Whether this is that group or not I do not know. They sound like they cound be.

As best as I can tell from the research I have done, these sides are previously unissed on a 45, and this is the first pressing. Both sides are very interesting Doo Wop recordings.

Just To Be With You is the Passions’ song, done by Paul Simon with the group providing a light Doo Wop backing. The flip side is a much better Doo Wop effort, and to listen to it you wouldn;t think it was Paul Simon related at all.

Finally, a word about the label: ''Chance.'' It is obviously not at all connected in any manner with the legendary Doo Wop label of the early 1950s.

All in all this is an oddball record and a pretty unique one at that; a good addition to any collection.
